The Management \/ Governing Body of Jorge del \u00c1lamo Albacete<\/b> (hereinafter, the data controller) assumes full responsibility and is fully committed to establishing, implementing, and maintaining this Data Protection Policy, ensuring the data controller\u2019s continuous improvement with the goal of achieving excellence in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95\/46\/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJEU L 119\/1, May 4, 2016), and Spanish regulations on the protection of personal data (Organic Law, specific sectoral legislation, and their implementing regulations).<\/p>

Jorge del \u00c1lamo Albacete<\/b>\u2019s Data Protection Policy is based on the principle of proactive accountability,<\/u> according to which the data controller is responsible for complying with the regulatory and case law framework governing this Policy and is able to demonstrate such compliance to the competent supervisory authorities.<\/p>

In this regard, the data controller will adhere to the following principles, which should serve as a guide and framework for all its staff when processing personal data:<\/p>

  1. Data Protection by Design:<\/b> The data controller shall implement, both when determining the means of processing and at the time of processing itself, appropriate technical and organizational measures\u2014such as pseudonymization\u2014designed to effectively apply data protection principles, such as data minimization, and to incorporate the necessary safeguards into the processing.<\/li>
  2. Data Protection by Default:<\/b> The data controller shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that, by default, only personal data necessary for each specific purpose of the processing are processed.<\/li>
  3. Data Protection Throughout the Information Lifecycle:<\/b> Measures to ensure the protection of personal data shall apply throughout the entire information lifecycle.<\/li>
  4. Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency:<\/b> Personal data will be processed in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner with respect to the data subject.<\/li>
  5. Purpose Limitation:<\/b> Personal data shall be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and shall not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.<\/li>
  6. Data minimization:<\/b> Personal data shall be adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.<\/li>
  7. Accuracy: <\/b>Personal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; all reasonable measures shall be taken to ensure that personal data that is inaccurate in relation to the purposes for which it is processed is erased or rectified without delay.<\/li>
  8. Limitation of retention period:<\/b> Personal data will be retained in a form that allows for the identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of processing the personal data.<\/li>
  9. Integrity and confidentiality:<\/b> Personal data will be processed in such a way as to ensure adequate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, through the implementation of appropriate technical or organizational measures.<\/li>
  10. Information and Training: <\/b>One of the keys to ensuring the protection of personal data is the training and information provided to staff involved in processing such data. Throughout the information lifecycle, all staff with access to the data will be properly trained and informed about their obligations regarding compliance with data protection regulations. <\/li><\/ol>

    Jorge del \u00c1lamo Albacete<\/b>\u2019s Data Protection Policy is communicated to all staff members of the data controller and made available to all interested parties.<\/p>

    Consequently, this Data Protection Policy applies to all staff members of the data controller, who must be familiar with it and embrace it as their own; each member is responsible for applying it and verifying the data protection regulations applicable to their activities, as well as identifying and proposing any opportunities for improvement they deem appropriate, with the goal of achieving excellence in compliance.<\/p>
